Elements of Fall
This beautiful arrangement of fall essentials greeted me in my inbox this morning. Once again Tory Burch hits it out of the park. I have the boots, but now I need the green jeans too!

Peplum Perfection
Friends, I am beside myself excited about my new lace peplum blouse from Zara. So many things about this top gives me goose bumps. First, it's three fall trends in one. How fabulous is that? Lace, check. Peplum, check. And red, check.
Zara.com does not do this blouse justice. The lace detail is spot on and thick. Not a cheap flimsy lace that sometimes can totally ruin an otherwise beautiful blouse.

And the back has brass button details. Love!
Of course, you know if Ms. Olivia P. is wearing it, it has to be fabulous.

Chic on the Cheap
Hey friends, have you been to Target lately? I was there for a few items and stumble upon this beauty.
Instantly I thought of the Tory Burch pom pom tote she had earlier this spring/summer. Obviously the two bags aren't that similar, but it still has the cute straw pom pom accent and in my opinion a bit more subdued of a look. I'm a die hard Tory fan, but here I prefer good old Tarjay. Plus there's about a $300 savings, my checking account can breath a sigh of relief.

Mommy and Me Summer Sandals
I don't intentionally buy shoes for my daughters to match me, but sometimes the shoe stars a line and I get lucky. You may remember the matching ballet flats I scored and wrote about here.
Well friends it happened again! I bought these sandals from Nine West for spring/summer and a couple of weeks later I found coordinating sandals for my girls from Target.

How cute are these kid versions? Yet another shopping high was experienced that day.

Wrap Redux via DVF and Gap Kids
Did you hear? DVF has created an exclusive line for Gap kids by reprising vintage pattern prints from her archives. I can't wait! Sale starts March 15, but if you’re a Gap card member; of which I am, you'll get an exclusive jump on the sale. Here's a sneak peak.

They're Here!
The wait is over my friends! The new Toms ballet flats have arrived; order yours before your size sells out.
Inevitably my size always sells out fast. This time I did not hesitate and ordered these!

Hello Kitty Goes to College
Old Navy just released these precious too cute to pass up college tees featuring Hello Kitty. They have just about every college team you can think of and of course I had to order two Longhorn tees for my girls. I think daddy is just as excited as they are.

High vs Low JCrew Spring 2012
Obviously Kelly green is going to be one of the must have colors for Spring. Why? Because if JCrew (a.k.a. JCrack) says so, then you know it's a must have necessity. One of my favorite outfits from their spring show was this cute Kelly green and leopard number.

After seeing the above, I got super excited when I strolled into Old Navy and say this beautiful Kelly green tunic for $30. It's so insanely cute on and made of a soft flowy fabric; perfect for spring and summer. I am invisioning maybe those JCrew leopard shorts with it or white jeans. Gotta have white jeans for spring/summer. It's my uniform; skinny, cropped, boot cut or trouser, I've got them all.

A Tennis Love Match
I recently started tennis lessons in an effort to spend more quality time with the family and add more cardio to shed some baby weight. I’ve never really been much of a tennis enthusiast, but my husband has his entire life and he’s really good.
About a month ago he started teaching our four year old how to play and I figured I better jump on the court too and learn or they’ll leave me behind in the stands.
After a few lessons it turns out I actually like tennis, a lot. So I figured if I was going to really try my hand at the game I needed the proper gear and headed to Tennis Express in Houston. I admit I was a bit intimidated to shop for a racket not really knowing much about the sport, but when I entered the store and saw all the cute and I mean super cute tennis dresses, skirts and accessories, all my inhibitions flew out the door.
What was this? A sport I could enjoy and get to wear super cute clothing too? Why didn’t I discover this years ago. Needless to say, now I am a tennis enthusiast too.

My absolute favorite tennis apparrel was Stella McCartney for Addidas. The Tennis line is so fine.
As well as Addidas, Ralph Lauren and K-Swiss
And then in no particular order, Nike has some nice dresses and skirts as well.

My Fall Must Haves
It doesn't feel a bit like fall in Houston, nor will it any time soon, but I've already got a few fabulous items on my radar. Since I am still working on loosing the baby weight I am keeping my focus on accessories.
In no particular order...

Penny Loafers are the shoe to have this fall and I love this gray suede one.

Neutral ballet flats via Jcrew.com

I've been looking for a flat black boot for a while and this one is perfect!

A muted and lightweight scarf to carry to help with summer/fall wardrobe crossover.

I love a crisp demin shirt for the fall. My eye is on this one.

And for a more lady like look, I love this versatile blouse.

Tip Toe Twins
Last week while we were out and about school shopping, we headed to the Premium Outlet Center in Houston. When ever I shop there I always make a stop at the Tory Burch store to see if I can score some cute shoes on a discount. This go around I found a beautiful pair of tan ballet flats with a black patent toe. I snatched them up immediately and was on a shopping high when I left the store.
To make this purchase even better, the next day we were in Gap Kids and I spied a pair of black toe ballet flats for my 4 year old. Of course I could not resist the purchase since they looked just like mine and like my daughter would say we were twinsies!

First Day of School Style
Today was a big day in our house. My daughter started PreK and did an awesome job at drop off. She was very brave, not one bit scared and eager to learn.
She also put a lot of thought into her first of school outfit. As you can see she was feeling sassy!

A little Monday Runway pose for you.
Here is the sweet smile I saw all morning long.

Making our way to school. The bag is as big as she is.

This is her "come on mom" look. She was done with the photos and ready to head out.

I am In The Mood for Fall
I am so ready for fall. I am over the severe drought situation we have in Houston. I want to enjoy the outdoors again, not just run from indoors to the car to avoid the 100+ plus temperatures.
To fuel my dreams for cooler days a JCrack (JCrew) catalogue showed up in my mail. I think I need to add these to my fall wardrobe.

Target's Calypso St. Barth for Kids
The much anticipated Calypso St. Barth for Target launched yesterday and of course the line holds a bevy of beautiful pieces for women, but the kids stuff is what caught my eye.
Here is just a sampling of the stylish staples for your child's summer wardrobe.

My favorite has to be this straw tote. Is this for kids or adults? It's so stylish who would know!

Little Havana, Big Style
Have you seen the new precious line at Gap Kids called Havana? It is one of the cutest trends this spring/summer and I can't wait to snatch some up for my girls.
And of course we can't forget the boys!
