Restoration Situation - To Buy Now or Wait

When Restoration Hardware Baby and Child debuted this gorgeous pint size writing desk, I almost fell out of my chair.  I love it in everyway possible and I am obessing over it for my duaghter's room. 

So...here's the situation, do I buy now with their $100 off promo; or wait and hope another one comes along?  I wasn't planning on buying it now, but I am tempted.

Varsity Blues: A Future MVP Nursery

Recently I completed bumpers for a baby boy that to me, said future All American MVP.  The bedding is really very simple, yet very baby without the in your face themed bedding.   We started with the following fabrics and left the decorating open to many options.

Shoe Love: Attention All Pregos!

Just bought these cuties for cheap at the Gap and I LOVE them.  They are so comfortable I feel like I am wearing house shoes, but I'm not!  Leather and worth every inexpensive penny.  I am considering getting a black pair.  You can never have too many comfortable black shoes. 

Sally Wheat Decorates Kids Rooms

One of my favorite local Houston designers thanks to Joni Webb from Cote de Texas (also a fav) is Sally Wheat.  She's a school teacher who found her true calling in decoratoring and has proven herself to be a naturally gifted designer. 

One of my guilty pleassures is drooling over the beautiful bedrooms she has designs for her client's children.  Below are my favorites.  You can check out more of Sally's work here.

A Bold Boy's Room

I love the bold and dramatic look of this boy's room designed by Massucco Warner Miller.  It's sophisticated and mature in a juvenile way, IMO.

Room to Dream via Elements of Style

Erin with Element Interiors design firm and her famous design blog has given us a little boy's room to boast about.  She custom designed this amazing space for the Room to Dream Foundation and you can read all the fabulous details here.

Summer Shoe Social

Just got these in the mail from Boden USA and I love them soooooooooo much.  I truly do.

I already have these Jack Rogers in gold and would also like them in silver.  I live in my Jack Rogers during the spring and summer.  In fact, I should take my gold ones to visit the shoe doctor, because they are in need of a little TLC.  They've seen a lot of miles.  I highly recommend these sandals. 

While browsing the Jack Rogers web site I spied these silver flats and of course I want these too.

 I am saving up my Banana Republic coupons and discounts to buy these must have summer essentials.

I spied these brilliant summer flats at Old Navy.  A linen espadrille flat for summer; how perfect!  Only $19.99; hope they are comfortable.  I may have to try these out and let you know how they feel.

And of course what summer shoe collection would be complete without a new pair of Torys.  I love the Miller Thong.

Oh and maybe the Patti Wedge too.  ;)
